• Post Audio U1600 Silver Series USB Mic
This package is based on Post Audio’s best USB mic, the broadcast quality, top of the line U1600 Silver Series studio condenser mic. Just plug the USB cable into your computer or interface and that’s it, you’re ready to record. The U1600 is compatible with all audio and video editing programs including: Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Sonar, Reason, Serato, Final Cut, Premier, After Effects and of course, GarageBand.
There is a wide range of quality in USB mics that are currently on the market. Most of the inexpensive USB mics available use a small low quality 13mm electret mic capsule. In our U1600, Post Audio uses a full size 32mm gold sputtered capsule, the same capsule we use in our high end studio condenser mics. If you get the chance to do an A-B comparison between the U1600 and the typical $69 USB mic, you will be amazed at the difference in sound quality
