Post Audio’s DS-1 is a heavy base, small footprint desk stand suitable for use with large professional mics.
Most of us spend a whole lot of our time at the computer when we’re making music these days. So a heavy duty professional desk stand is a handy tool to have. But while most desk stands are far too small and too light to use with a professional studio condenser mic, Post Audio’s DS-1 stand is specifically made to be able to hold up a large studio type microphone.

What we’ve done is make a stand with a base that’s heavy enough to use with a studio mic, but also has a small footprint so it doesn’t take up your whole desk. Then we add a short boom that is large enough to get the mic where you need it, but not so big that it gets in your way.

The DS-1 comes with a mic cable clip on the boom swivel and another one that can be used either on the boom arm or on the mic stand itself.

The main stand extends from 10″ to 16″ and the adjustable boom arm is 15″ long.
