Ambient Room Filters™ (aka ARF’s)

Our ARF™ filters are all designed to reduce room reflections and extraneous outside noises. You will find that simply mounting an ARF filter behind your main vocal mic will make a huge difference. We’re not talking about, “Yeah, I think I might hear some difference.” We’re talking about, “Wow, who knew!”

ARF-32

This is our best selling filter. Designed for light weight and stability, It includes the hardware to mount the filter and your mic on any standard issue mic stand.

ARF-12

Smaller but heftier than the ARF-32, the AFR-12 features a heavy cast swivel mounting bracket, adjustable mini-mic stand and 5 layers of acoustic treatment. It’s a very versatile filter for use in vocals, in front of amps as well as for recording acoustic instruments and drums.

ARF-01

This is our flagship filter. It's most unique feature is hinged barn-door sides, useful for adjusting the recording field to accomodate more types of sources. The ARF-01 has seven separate layers of acoustic material, robust cast hardware, comes with a heavy duty mounting stand for maximum stability and includes additional hardware to mount two mics, for recording two vocalists side by side or for X-Y stereo recording.
